Account & Data Deletion

At Karakbit, we respect your privacy and believe that users should have control over their personal information.

If you no longer wish to use Karakbit, you can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time. For child accounts, parents or legal guardians may request account deletion on behalf of their child.

1. How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your account directly from the Karakbit mobile application by following these steps:

  1. Open the Karakbit app.
  2. Tap on your Profile icon.
  3. Select Help & Settings.
  4. Tap Delete Account.
  5. Confirm your request by selecting Delete on the confirmation screen.

After confirmation, your account deletion request will be processed.

Your account will be permanently deleted after a 30-day recovery period. During this period, you may recover your account by logging back into the app. After the recovery period ends, your account and associated data will be permanently removed and cannot be restored.

2. Unable to Access Your Account?

If you cannot access the Karakbit app, you can request account deletion by contacting us.

Please email support@karakbit.com.

Use the subject: Delete My Karakbit Account

Please contact us using your registered email address or phone number so that we can verify account ownership before processing the request.

3. Data Deleted With Your Account

When your account is permanently deleted, the following information associated with your account will be removed:

  • Phone number and login information
  • Profile details including name, avatar, and preferences
  • Learning progress and activity history
  • AI conversation history
  • User-generated learning data

4. Data That May Be Temporarily Retained

Some limited information may be retained temporarily where required for security purposes, fraud prevention, legal or regulatory requirements, or payment or transaction records.

Such information will only be retained for as long as necessary and handled according to our Privacy Policy. Backup copies may take additional time to be fully removed from our systems due to standard backup and recovery processes.

5. Delete Individual Chat Data

You can delete your AI chat conversations without deleting your account.

To delete a chat:

  1. Open the Karakbit app.
  2. Go to History.
  3. Tap the Delete icon next to the chat you want to remove.
  4. Confirm deletion by selecting Delete on the confirmation popup.

Your selected chat conversation will be removed from your account.
